In this role, I've developed a therapeutic device from concept to manufacture for a startup. Beginning with a rough prototype, I have streamlined the multi-purpose device through multiple iterations, undergoing user testing and developing CMF specs for the final product. I contributed detailed schematics to apply for a utility patent.

Houston Anytime Manager
Throughout Houston, Tide Cleaners operates contactless dry cleaning lockers in apartment buildings and corporate campuses. My role is to ensure quality of service, coordinate installations, and maintain relationships with developers. During the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, I expanded my role to include selling surplus lockers, generating over $11K in additional funds.
03.2019 - Present
An abbreviation of "dynamic extension," the product began in a medical design studio at UH. I interviewed and shadowed Occupational Therapists at Quentin Mease Hospital to develop a therapeutic device that encourages independence in practice, thus speeding recovery for patients who experience post-stroke upper limb spasticity. The device was applied to several pitch competitions and developed into a business plan in UH's RED Labs accelerator.

Precious Plastic UH
Precious Plastic is a worldwide network of eco-conscious individuals dedicated to using plastic responsibly. The UH chapter was co-founded by student members with the mission to democratize recycling machinery and close the loop on wasted resources. We invite students from all backgrounds to upcycle plastic with hands-on workshops and collaborations.
Beyond the physical products of this club, we have started a very important conversation by engaging students with memorable information about plastics and solutions to prevent pollution.
