The purpose of this project was to develop a chair concept based on mood boards that represents me as a designer.

I chose an abstracted form that challenges traditional notions of a chair and invites the user to make modifications.

The final design was constructed from flats drawn in Rhino and cut on an industrial-scale CNC, pieced together, and covered with a wood laminate and fabric.

The shoe rendering is a required project for all students in the Industrial Design program.
